Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Kashna AI LLC, a New Mexico (USA) limited liability company ("we", "us") for using Kashna Script and kashnascript.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you accept them.
Your account
You are responsible for the email address you sign in with and for what happens in your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live.
Your work belongs to you
You keep all rights to the screenplays and other content you create with Kashna Script. We claim no ownership. If you turn on cloud backup, you give us only the permission needed to store and return your content to you.
Your work is saved on your device by default. Keep your own copies (for example by exporting to PDF, Final Draft or Fountain). We are not responsible for content lost because browser data was cleared, a device failed, or cloud backup was off.
Subscriptions and free trial
- Kashna Script is still in development and paid plans are not open yet. Nothing can be bought or charged today. The terms in this section apply once subscriptions open.
- Kashna Script will be offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. New subscribers will get a 14-day free trial.
- Our order process will be conducted by our payment provider Lemon Squeezy, who is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, sales tax/VAT, invoicing and order-related customer service.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. If you don't want to be charged after your trial, cancel before it ends.
- You can cancel at any time; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies. This does not apply to subscribers on our launch price: their price stays the same for as long as they remain continuously subscribed.
- Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, no getting around plan limits or creating multiple accounts to repeat a free trial, no reselling access, and no using it to break the law or infringe others' rights.
Our software
Kashna Script, its design, name and logo belong to Kashna AI LLC. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app while your account is in good standing. Open-source components are used under their own licences, listed in the app under Settings → Licenses and credits.
Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Kashna Script fast and reliable, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or retire features. If we ever shut the Service down, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your work.
Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to [email protected]; we will delete it and its cloud backups within 30 days. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will update the date above and email account holders about important changes. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
